Skills for Care is the employer-led workforce development body for adult social care in England. We work with employers across England to make sure
their people have the right skills and values to deliver high quality care.

Home of the National Skills Academy for Social Care, we offer workforce learning and development support and practical resources from entry level right through to those in leadership and management roles.

By working with employers and sharing best practice, we help raise quality and standards across the whole sector and ensure dignity and respect
are at the heart of service delivery

The purpose of this role is to provide an effective and efficient employer and stakeholder engagement activity support service to the SfC Area Teams across England, representing SfC and acting as an interface with employers and stakeholders in the Areas.

The post holder will be a professional and knowledgeable point of contact for employers and stakeholders and will, therefore, require experience in high-quality customer care and in providing high-level, professional customer service to colleagues and stakeholders.

As well as having excellent customer service skills, the post holder will have confident communication skills, to enable them to communicate with colleagues, Board members and other stakeholders over the phone, face-to-face and via email.

The post holder will be capable of managing the planning and co-ordination of events, workshops and external meetings with Area Team colleagues, dealing effectively and efficiently with queries from delegates, venues and other suppliers.

Important note:  The post holder will be required to support SfC Area Teams across England.  Support for events and meetings will sometimes require attendance in person, therefore the post holder must be willing and able to travel.
