Job Title: Implementation Manager – NHS and Project Management Experience Required

Location: Based in the field

Salary: Competitive plus travel allowance

Job Role:

The Implementation Manager is responsible and accountable for the effective implementation of sites upgrading to T3 technology and/or initiatives at site level. The position reports into the Head of Implementation and is responsible for the successful operational implementation of T3 upgrades whilst maintaining and improving customer service levels.

During implementation roll-outs the role will involve building and maintaining relationships with NHS Ward and Trust staff, attending on site meetings as required. Ensuring all relevant NHS Ward and Trust staff are aware of the roll out program and its impact on site, improving customer service levels and customer satisfaction with the company’s services

A key requirement of the role is to be highly mobile, since the post-holder will be working closely with Site based staff, technical and field-based teams, and Head Office teams. The role is nationally-based, and involves frequent travel to hospital sites. Overnight stays for several days consecutively are likely to be regular.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for, and focus on, defined annual objectives for Implementation Services
  • Change Management and Operational readiness assessments
  • Responsible for the end to end management and delivery of all assigned Implementation projects on time and within budget
  • Efficient and effective throughput of implementation and other professional services projects for timely revenue recognition and maximum customer satisfaction
  • Develop an in-depth and thorough working knowledge of the assigned company services
  • Attend pre and post install and upgrade meetings, engage key customer stakeholders in programmes required to deliver the company’s Services to trusts
  • Training of client staff to ensure maximum engagement and understand of system being installed
  • Manage the implementation of services at assigned sites including programme and project management deliverables
  • Regular reporting of program activities and utilisation reporting
  • Manage and resolve site/customer issues
  • Create project documentation, policies, procedures and best practise guidance
  • Coordination and leadership of all implementation resources
  • Support with tender response in conjunction with account manager

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrable NHS and Project Management Experience is essential.
  • Demonstrable track record of success in a similar position
  • Nursing qualification level G and above advantageous
  • Experience of maintaining Clinical Governance
  • Previous success in Implementation within multiple stakeholder environments, ideally within the NHS, Public Sector or relevant market sector.
  • Previous experience of training in implementing new products, ideally within the NHS
  • Demonstrable track record of project management – Prince2
  • High level of business and commercial awareness, with demonstrable business understanding
  • Previous experience of working in a cross-functional environment, and building successful relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to demonstrate previous success in achieving project targets and meeting budgetary expectations.
  • Previous experience of establishing and developing customer relationships to a senior level.
  • Highly IT Literate, with experience in a project management system to include Microsoft project and MS Office packages to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to retrieve and analyse data, and produce reports to a professional standard.
  • Strong and confident communicator, with the ability to communicate with others in a professional and business-like manner
  • Demonstrable project management skills to a high level, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Able to work confidently to meet utilisation targets in a structured manner.
