An Area Manager is required for a small, growing organisation in West London.
This Nursery Group is seeking an Area Manager with a proven track record of successful Nursery Management.
You will support the opening of a new site and oversee the existing, successful sites.
This organisation takes pride in offering quality care in their high end, West London settings.
You will understand how to ensure exceptional customer service is delivered in all areas and that the Nurseries are thriving within a highly competitive marketplace.
You must be able to demonstrate you can inspire your staff team to achieve great things, that you have a real understanding of Ofsted standards and that you can tap into the local market, offering parents the childcare they want and need.
You will be an experienced Nursery Manager seeking the next step, or an Area Manager looking for a new challenge.
Qualified to Degree Level, EYPS desirable.

Some of your responsibilities as Area Manager will include:
- To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
- To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
- To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
- To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
- To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels
- To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents
- To support the Managers to effectively manage all day to day operations of the nursery
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
- Relevant Degree, EYPS desirable
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Knowledge of OFSTED standards
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
- Good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong people management skills
- Knowledge and understand of equal opportunities / SENCO etc.
- Previous relevant supervisory experience
