Stirling Observer, a busy bi-weekly newspaper which is part of Media Scotland, Scotland's largest publishing group, needs an experienced, hard-working, talented and enthusiastic senior reporter to join our team.

Role Responsibility: The successful candidate will cover news in the Stirling area and be based in the offices of the Stirling Observer in Upper Craigs, Stirling.

We want a highly-motivated individual who combines old-school journalism skills with the ability to utilise and embrace the latest developments in digital and social media.

The Ideal Candidate: Candidates should be qualified to NCTJ level or equivalent, have 100 wpm shorthand, a valid driver's licence and at least three years' job experience.

A good knowledge of the area we serve would be an advantage.
