We offer our fast growing client base, in and around the Aylesbury area, a range of different IT support services that meet the needs of any small to medium size business as well as home users. From fully outsourced IT strategy and support to individuals needing help at home with domestic computers, tablets or laptops, we have it covered. 

The IT Support Engineer role:

Due to the continued growth of the business a new opportunity has arisen for an exceptional IT support engineer with a highly professional attitude to join our team supporting our current clients and generating new business opportunities. We pride ourselves in offering excellent customer service and building strong, lasting relationships with our customers.

This exciting new role will involve both onsite and remote support, maintaining systems and being proactive with any issues that may arise. You will need to work well in a team and independently, whilst maintaining the high levels of customer service that we are renowned for.

You must be a driven self-starter with a can-do attitude; be extremely customer focused; and must have excellent organisation, communication and inter-personal skills as you will be interacting with users of all levels of ability and IT awareness.

IT Support Engineer Key Experience and Technical Skills Required:

> Educated to relevant degree level or equivalent
> Substantial (min 2 years’) experience in an IT support role, working with small to medium sized infrastructures and networks
> Microsoft certified (MCSA/MCSE/MCP)
> Proven experience in a customer facing environment
> Full Clean UK driving license

Desirable Technical Skills:

> Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 and SBS 2003/2008/2011
> TCP/IP and basic networking
> Active Directory/DNS/Group Policy/Router and Firewall Configurations/Wireless Setup
> Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2007/2010/2013
> Office 365/Google Apps
> Virtualisation/Hyper-V
> Microsoft Office Suite 2007/2010/2013
> Windows XP/7/8 and MAC OSX
> Desktop and laptop hardware support
> Cloud based systems and backup

Personal skills:

> Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
> Excellent customer service skills
> A professional approach and positive attitude
> Ability to work well both in a team and alone
> Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills
> Extremely detail orientated and accurate with great attention to detail in everything undertaken
> Ability to work well under pressure during critical client incidents
> Presentable, professional, punctual and demonstrate good work ethics
> Live within easy reach of Aylesbury and willing to travel to different locations across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas

You are required to have a full, clean UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle during the probation period.
