Cleaner / Caretaker / Storeman

A position has become available in a high end butchers food production factory and retail shop environment. This is a varied position which includes duties of, but not limited to, general maintenance of buildings and yard, chilled and dry goods stores, cleaning of the main factory with specialist high pressure equipment, basic machinery maintenance and some delivery of goods.

They are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience in some or all of the above areas. Applicants should be flexible, reliable and capable of working to very high standards. Ideally, applicants will have worked in a food environment where foaming and high pressure cleaning have been used, and who can demonstrate a knowledge of COSHH. Alternatively, they are looking for a "Jack-of-all-trades" person who also has stores experience and is willing to learn how to clean to their required standards. The ideal applicant will be more than willing to be involved fully in the day-to-day running of the business.

Hours of work are 5 days per week, including Saturdays (Day off - Thursday) 8am - 6pm, based on a 42.5 hour week.
