Mechanical Design Engineer
Creo Elements
The role is to support the Product Development team by drawing new components and assemblies, and making changes to existing products.
Produce mechanical component and assembly drawings in accordance with BS8888 using Creo Elements/ Perform minor design tasks and changes.
Perform tolerance stack up checks and assign appropriate geometric tolerances to designs to ensure that components can be manufactured and then assembled.
Undertake drawing changes and implement change control of components in conjunction with the other business functions, considering cost, quality, and lead-time.
