General Restaurant Manager Details:
The General Manager is fully responsible for the daily operations of their restaurant. The General Manager will represent their Five Guys restaurant with inspiring leadership, passion, energy, knowledge, ensuring every customer has a memorable experience. The General Manager will work alongside their team serving perfect burgers and perfect fries whilst maintaining exceptionally high cleanliness standards and for their customers to return as fanatics!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively assists in managing a Five Guys restaurant, including administration of policies and guidelines of the company, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times
- Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensures products are consistent with company quality standards
- Controls day-to-day operations by scheduling labour, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team
- Works alongside their Crew Team, delegating tasks and developing future managers
- Controls profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labour, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
- Recruits, interviews, and hires team members, conducts performance appraisals, takes disciplinary action, motivates and trains
- Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction
- Ensures a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviours of the team
