Experience of managing people desirable but not essential, however a proven track record and commitment to people development and coaching for performance is a must. The ability to respond positively to pressure and to deliver results in challenging market conditions is essential.

The Internal Sales Supervisor is responsible for the day to day supervision of a team of sales co-ordinators. Ensuring excellent customer service and sales targets are achieved through the coaching, developing and continuous improvement of direct reports.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To deliver the financial targets as set by the BU (Business Unit) and Regional management
  • To support the senior management team in improving OTIFIC (On Time In Full Invoiced Correctly) performance.
  • Contribute to new practices for continuous improvement
  • Coach, support and develop Team members to ensure the delivery of customer service levels are met in line with SLA, and also to enable staff to reach their potential. This includes creating a team environment which is focused on commercial success, including the chasing of sales opportunities and enabling these to be converted to enhancing business performance
  • To form effective cross functional relationships with all key stakeholders within the area of responsibility.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience:

  • Formal qualifications are not essential however relevant experience is required a proven track record of being able to "add value" is essential
  • People Supervision / Management
  • A proven track record of outstanding customer service.
  • Influencing skills; negotiation skills; coaching and performance management skills; understanding of competitive landscape; high level of drive & determination; able to identify customer needs and build solutions; comprehensive product knowledge; high level of accuracy and attention to detail
