Our client is currently looking to recruit a highly qualified and experienced personal assistant to support their National Programmes Manager and provide administrative support to the wider sales and marketing team. The role will be fast paced and varied with operational duties and daily reporting responsibilities. You will be working closely with a dynamic, results focused and ambitious operations manager; you will be the communication link between her and the wider marketing team.

This role is suited towards a pro-active, fast-learning individual who can adapt to the pace of the working environment. You will have to be process driven, have exceptional communication and written skills, advanced IT skills and have advanced skills with all common systems (e.g. WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL, DATABASES, and ADOBE etc.); outstanding presentation skills are also required, with the ability to analyse key data and provide logistical support.

PURPOSE OF ROLE: To provide a strictly private, confidential executive personal assistance and comprehensive administrative support to the National Programmes Manager.

The successful candidate will have the following duties:

  • Day to day scheduling and management of the National Programmes Manager diary.
  • Travel bookings, expenses, timesheets and other administrative duties when required.
  • Pro-actively manage the workload of the National Programmes Manager ensuring all deadlines are met by understanding priorities.
  • Liaise internally and externally on behalf of the National Programmes Manager (individuals will need to have excellent comprehensive skills).
  • Arrange and manage meetings internally & externally; producing agendas, organising and catering the entire team.
  • Keep company databases up to date.
  • Carry out market research on behalf of the operations manager and creating campaigns to support the sales team.
  • Proof read any communication on behalf of the operations manager when required.
  • Checking and formatting documents/reports appropriately and professionally.

ESSENTIAL:

  • Have relevant experience working in an office and experience with the duties listed above.
  • Excellent written and communicational skills.
  • Be competent, pro-active and have the mind-set to learn the goals and vision of our organisation.
  • Commercially minded, focused and methodical.

Salary Range: £14,000 - £16,000
Working hours: Mon-Fri (40 hours per week)
