Senior C++ Engineer - DTV - Real Time - Embedded Software - RTOS - C++ - Linux - DVB - IPTV - Home Counties - Greater London - UK

My client is looking to add a Senior Software Engineer to the DTV Engineering team based in South-East England. You'll have a strong development background and ideally knowledge in DVB, IPTV, RTOS and embedded Linux. The role is diverse - you'll likely work on everything from driver level development through to the UI and you'll be both encouraged and expected (in time) to become a technical authority on DTV. As a Senior Engineer, there's the opportunity to take control and lead the development processes if you wish and, due to the size of the company, long term development and progression is always available should you want it.

Essential skills:
- Good degree in EE or equivalent industry experience
- C++
- Linux
- RTOS
- Strong Embedded Software background
- DVB / IPTV experience.

Desirable
- DTV Standards
- UML
- Related IP Technologies
- One of the following: Java / Perl / Python / Javascript
