Working within our recently refurbished offices near central Cardiff, our Claims Co-ordinators primarily carry out quality pre-visit calls to our valued customers to establish the reason for their insurance claim. You`ll be the first point of contact, so it`s vital you`ll understand the importance of patience and empathy in such circumstances.
Your role with us will be to gain information from the insurance policy holder / broker as quickly as possible to ensure the utmost customer service and offer guidance at the start of the claims process. You`ll be , advising on the process of each claim, taking as many details as possible and entering these onto our bespoke system to assist the adjuster during the site visit.
It`s not just about the talking, it`s the listening too. Our claims can be so diverse, so you`ll need to have superb empathetic skills, take a neutral view and remain calm when the pressure is on.
About you:
You`ll appreciate the position of the customer, acting on the information you`re given as quickly as possible, so it`s essential that you`ll have:
• Superb Customer Services skills and proven experience
• Excellent telephone manner
• Strong communication skills - both written and oral
• Accurate keyboard skills
• The ability to work to tight deadlines whist maintaining a high standard of work
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Ability to prioritise workloads
• IT literacy

• Willing to learn and develop
• Intention to become or already Cert / Dip CII qualified
