Job Title: Occupational Health Account Manager

Salary: Circa £18,000

Based: Eccles, Manchester

The company provides nationwide, on site health surveillance and occupational health services. They carry out Health surveillance (hearing tests, lung function tests, skin checks and HAVS checks) all from their specialist mobile medical units, carried out at their client's sites nationwide.

Due to their continued success, they are expanding their team and looking for a self-motivated and confident sales and account managers based there in Eccles.

As a key member of the Occupational Health Operations team, you will provide operational consultancy and support for the smooth integration and operation of their occupational health services that enables the business to maintain and develop their key accounts businesses in their respective markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cross selling opportunities for other services to include Food Safety, Health and Safety and Employment Law
  • Developing new business opportunities and identifying new leads
  • Supporting all sales activity with the company
  • Providing monthly, quarterly and annual reports on individual performance of the department
  • Business and account planning of major contracts to ensure growth and development
  • Forecast new business monthly, quarterly and annually to ensure operational capacity.
  • Contribute to the successful submission of tenders, RFIs and proposals.
  • Provide advice, consultancy, and operational support to regional colleagues to help them develop and execute their local key account strategy
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure key account solutions are delivered on time and to a high standard

Key Requirements:

  • Possess excellent communication skills and proven experience in a sales or business development co-ordination environment.
  • Have a strong ability to prioritise a heavy workload, show initiative, and work autonomously
  • Have a high level of attention to detail and a high level of computer literacy (especially in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Have exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, including presenting, influencing, collaborative decision-making, running effective meetings, negotiating
