Job title: Technical Support Assistant

Location: London, EC4A 2DY

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum

Our client is currently looking for a Technical Support Assistant who will be responsible for providing quality service to clients, coordinating the technical support team and ensuring repeat business and optimum profit. This is a junior level role and requires no previous experience.

A key component of this role is the responsibility for carrying out the efficient and professional physical set up of all cases, ensuring correct technical configuration and physical set up is of high quality.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the support diary and coordination of the technical support team
  • Set up and dismantle equipment for all cases throughout UK and internationally
  • Maintain a log of any damaged/broken/poorly functioning equipment
  • Ensure technical support manuals are up to date
  • Complete set-up checklist for all projects and archive
  • Complete job sheets for all projects to ensure all assets are correctly logged and accounted for
  • Keep up to date with related technologies to ensure clients and independent contractors are provided with first rate technical set-ups
  • Provide ongoing technical support for all cases including, but not limited to, Daily, Realtime and EPE,
  • Ensure all equipment and resources are tracked and accounted for and perform audit during court recess periods
  • Ensure all data is accurately stored in accordance with data retention policy
  • Ensure all documents and case data is prepared and loaded for in court review
  • Support software tests when required
  • Deliver working procedures and systems to ensure consistent and effective service
  • Build and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships
  • Performs related administration functions
  • Be responsible for the availability and allocation of VCR equipment
  • Manage client projects such as STT, TFL contracts
  • Assist the sales and client team with client training sessions
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide tracking to the client team
  • Work with the Client Relations Manager/Client Relations team to budget and purchase new equipment and asset dispose of broken items

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) at all levels, both internally and externally, along with a professional telephone manner. 

You will work effectively as part of a team, recognising areas where support is required and offering assistance.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to Degree level
  • Computer literate and good all round technical knowledge
  • Flexible and adaptable in approach
  • Effective interpersonal skills – analytical, pragmatic and thorough
  • Effectively problem solve any problems that might arise
  • Able to professionally manage workload and prioritise
  • Good organisational skills
