Our client is looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial, commercial and engaging Head of Training who is keen to have a significant impact on their business and progress and develop within it. Salary £45,000 to £55,000 plus generous bonus and perks. Based in London with some travel regionally.

Our client is an award winning and fast growing restaurant concept. They have a unique restaurant concept with a focus on fresh quality ingredients and a fun, friendly approach to service. This is a great opportunity for potential progression as they are currently undergoing rapid expansion due to their popularity.

The successful Head of Training will be able to demonstrate the following:

-          Have a raw passion for food, drink, service and hospitality, as well as technical operational knowledge gained from previous experience along with a sound commercial awareness

-          An organised systematic approach coupled with the ability and experience to write training materials and formalise the training department

-          The ability to plan and develop a pipeline of trained individuals ready to play key parts in the company’s expansion plans

-          Magnetic, Motivational and Gregarious personality

-          Passion and Pride ensuring that all those who you train are inspired by your methods and your engaging personality will be able to light the fire within your delegates

-          Traits that clearly demonstrate the ability to work as a team to achieve goals

-          Be flexible, extroverted, have boundless enthusiasm and self-motivation together with high standards and a good sense of humour

As Head of Training you will have the following:

-          Minimum 2 years previous training manager or Head of Training experience gained in the hospitality sector, preferably within a branded group

-          Experience of the entire training cycle and a track record in designing and delivering management and soft skills training

-          Previously implemented or worked with successful talent management and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to customer service

-          Be a proven, ‘hands on’ stand up trainer, with relevant management development skills

-          Have a strong character and stamina to deal with the pressures that the pace within this role includes

-          Creative and innovative solutions

-          Experience at managing the training requirements for new openings
