They now have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join them where you will lead and manage an effective and efficient support service for the Chief Executive’s Office. This involves providing oversight of administrative and business support to the strategic leadership team as well as taking a lead role in coordinating and providing briefings and information to senior staff.

As an Executive Assistant you will undertake the role of personal assistant to the Chief Executive, including the provision of highly effective support in respect of how the Chief Executive discharges his duties. Providing administrative support on a day to basis, including diary management, travel and accommodation arrangements and preparing relevant papers for key committees and boards as required, you will manage and process information within the Chief Executive’s office with appropriate degrees of confidentiality whilst promoting a professional environment and delivering high levels of customer service at all times.

They are looking for someone who is degree qualified, or has an equivalent professional qualification, coupled with experience of providing high level support to senior staff. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills you will be highly organised and have previous working knowledge of developing and producing briefing papers for senior staff whilst processing complex information.

Experience of budget and financial management, as well as involvement in supervising a staff team, is desired but not essential. What is key is that you possess good problem solving and decision making skills, have excellent time management and are able to motivate and inspire others.  With a flexible approach you will be enthusiastic and have outstanding interpersonal and networking skills.
