KS2 intervention teacher/PPA

The head teacher of a beautiful Primary school in Lewisham is recruiting for an experienced KS2 teacher to provide 1-1 as well as group literacy and numeracy interventions for year 3 and 4 children.

About the school:

*Popular 2 form entry mainstream Primary
*Art/Music specialism - Nominated for Creative School award
*Topic based curriculum - Visually stimulation classrooms
*Rated Good by Ofsted
*Stable, friendly staff
*Located in Lewisham

About the role:

*5 days per week (September 2015 - July 2016)
*1-1 and small groups (2-3 children) Math and Literacy interventions for Year 3 and 4 pupils
*Some PPA responsibilities (No planning for PPA)

The head teacher would like to recruit a teacher who has the following skills and attributes:

*At least 3 years recent teaching experience KS2 ideally
*High expectations
*Clarity in expression
*Good communication with teachers
*Creative open plans (for interventions)
*Can build rapport quickly with children
*Intervention teaching experience in desirable
