Sous Chef – Independent Restaurant – Shoreditch – 28k Package

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join this amazing Restaurant which celebrates the best of British food.

The Restaurant is proud to serve British food, simply presented and packed with flavor. It’s a busy restaurant serving everything from breakfast through to fine dining restaurant service.

As the Sous Chef you will assist chef oversee the general running of the kitchen and will help menu creation, and staff training. You will need to have creative flair and create dishes that celebrate the seasons of British produce. You will assist with the overseeing of the day to day preparation and planning of the kitchen and brigade for service, this is a role for a hands on Sous Chef. 

The ideal candidate will from a similar venue or a quality fine dining restaurant that delivers high volume whilst maintaining high standards.

Essential skills required are management skills, team player and the abiliity to create great plates of food. You will be a good motivator and a great leader passing on skills and knowledge to junior members of the brigade.
