Marketing Assistant

An enthusiastic Marketing Assistant is required to join a fast-paced dynamic team in one of the UK's leading SME focused businesses.

Primarily supporting their skills division you'll be working to raise the profile of their propositions with businesses and young people alike. You'll be joining a multifaceted marketing department, where you'll receive the support you need to achieve your future career ambitions.

Key responsibilities

- Managing the day-to-day implementation of an online marketing strategy including social media channels.
- Supporting direct marketing campaigns.
- Introducing creative input as appropriate.
- Assisting in the delivery of online and offline marketing materials.
- Curating news and content to be shared through multiple agreed marketing channels.
- Supporting the Marketing Executive by identifying PR opportunities.
- Managing the day-to-day updates to the Content Management System to ensure websites are kept up-to-date and displaying correct and relevant information.
- Managing the key performance indicator and metrics reports.

Skills & experience

You are likely to have a degree in Marketing, Business Studies or a related discipline, and want to grow, develop, gain skills and build up your marketing expertise. You will be able to demonstrate:

- Knowledge and understanding of general administrative duties
- A keen interest and understanding of business and marketing
- A digital marketing enthusiast
- Passionate about and able to demonstrate a good knowledge and use of social media
- IT literate and a competent user of databases.
- Initiative, creativity and a can-do attitude
- A fast learner who's keen to get stuck in, try new things and keep up-to-date
- Good organisation, time-management and forward planning
- Excellent communication skills, both written and in-person
- Excellent attention to detail

Remuneration
basic salary between £17,900 - £20,300 per annum + 10.5% pension + 26 days' annual leave
