My client manufactures test and measurement equipment used specifically in the broadcast space, for assessing parameters in sound/ signal/ remote testing/ compliance etc. They're currently looking for a Worldwide Sales Director who can manage direct teams in the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions, whilst simultaneously driving performance from channel partners.
Reporting in to the board, this is a strategic position with full responsibility over forecasting/sales quotas, target accounts, and the complete sales cycle (from lead generation to closure). The successful candidate will have the following background:
- A successful track record selling electronics in to the broadcast market
- A background generating new business
- Experience setting up/managing a distribution network
- The willingness to travel internationally
- The ability go get in to the West Berkshire office periodically, whilst not on travel
This is a critical role for an SME who need strong sales leadership to develop their presence in the broadcast market. Currently dealing with a number of 'high revenue generating' international customers, there is a solid base to build upon, but reaching the next level requires someone who can maximise on these existing customers; develop smaller accounts; and source new business by working closely with regional teams and pushing products through the channel.
