WEB DESIGN ASSISTANT - PART TIME
Salary starting at £10,125per annum (pro rata of £18,476)
20 hours per week (Monday to Friday hours to be agreed)

As part of a dynamic and driven Marketing Department, you must be able to work under pressure and as part of a committed team. You will be given the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Union's Club and Society webpages, take part in team meetings and be an active member of the Marketing team. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Given the importance of our website as a communication tool, the role of Web Design Assistant is crucial in offering support to the Web Developer & Designer in the creative development and maintenance of this site. With over 70 sports clubs and over 240 societies to support there is a constant demand for websites and development and this role will be busy, diverse and challenging.
You must have worked in a similar role and be experienced in using a number of web languages: javascript, compliant HTML and CSS including knowledge of cross browser support/compatibility and you will be a competent user of Adobe, Photoshop and Fireworks. You must have a confident outgoing personality, be a good time manager and you must be reliable.
