Established in 1991, Jackson Fire and Security was founded in North Wales and quickly became one of the largest regional providers of fire and safety equipment in the UK. After extensive research and preparation, the Jackson Fire and Security national franchise opportunity was launched in 2013.
The franchise system enables franchisees to offer the same high standards of equipment and customer service across the UK, backed up by a committed team at Jackson HQ. As a result, franchisees benefit from having a tailor-made business, set up and ready to go.
As a Franchise Owner you will have the opportunity to build a successful business with the support of an established market leading organisation. You will share in the vison to establish a team of engineers to provide fire and security installation and servicing services to the Leeds area. Key to your success will be your ability to develop regional clients through local marketing and business development activities.
The services offered by the Franchise include;
- Installing and maintaining security systems to industry standards
- Designing, installing and maintaining, NSI Gold/BAFE accredited fire alarm systems
- Providing 24/7 emergency call-out service via head office
- Supplying fire extinguishers
To be successful as a Franchise Owner you will have the following experience, qualifications, skills, knowledge and attributes;
- Excellent business development and networking skills
- Experienced in business management or as a fire and security engineer. The role can be hands-on as a fire and security engineer, or as a manager in charge of a team of multi-skilled technicians and support staff
- Desire to be your own boss
- Keen to run your own fire and security business in your local area
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
Good technical knowledge of fire and security systems is desirable however, full training is provided in the Jackson way of doing things.
The Start-Up Costs;
The initial investment fee is £18,000 + VAT. The franchisee must make additional provision for start-up and working capital for a franchised territory. You will receive a complete breakdown of the investment once your application has been reviewed, along with further details about the complete franchise package.
You will be provided with income projections and other financial details to allow you to discuss the opportunity with your professional advisers.
As with any franchise opportunity, precisely how much you earn as a Jackson Fire and Security franchisee is largely dependent upon your individual commitment and tenacity, and your ability to follow our proven system in your own area.

- A central supply source for business stationery, leaflets, brochures and corporate clothing.
