Our client, a long established and successful distribution company is looking to recruit a gregarious, systematic and hardworking Customer Service/Account Manager to join their lively team.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of their own customer accounts on a daily basis and handling anything from general enquiries to planning and tracking orders either over the phone or via email. Managing all inbound calls smoothly from start to finish and providing professional and excellent customer service at all times; ensuring all relevant information is obtained from the customers to provide a flawless service. You will also be working closely with other departments to make sure orders are processed correctly. All this together with any ad hoc administrative tasks (as and when required).
Candidates will have the ability to make swift decisions and have confidence in their decision making abilities. A positive and proactive attitude along with willingness to learn and progress is essential alongside with outstanding customer service skills. In addition you must be able to adapt and respond to change quickly and enthusiastically. Microsoft Office experience is essential, Sage an advantage.
