Assistant Store Manager | £17,000 + | Portishead | 37.5hrs

The Role
As an Assistant Store Manager of one of our 300 stores you will have proven management experience in a fast paced retail environment, with a strong and sustained ability to drive and deliver total customer satisfaction whilst maximizing sales and profitability.
It is essential that you are a creative individual with a flair for fashion and have the ability to ensure your store is presented and merchandised in a dynamic and inviting style.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will have the ability to achieve results by effectively leading, coaching, developing and motivating your team to deliver their potential.

Key responsibilities of a Assistant Store Manager are:
 To work within company guidelines to achieve the store and company targets
 To manage the day to day operational and staffing requirements of the store.
 Monitor store process and ensure that BSP are in place.
 To ensure exemplary levels of service are delivered to every customer.
 To ensure effective recruitment and induction of employees is maintained.
 Full stock accountability.
 The ability to speak with confidence and offer demonstrations to all customers
 To maintain optimal stock levels of all best selling products

Experience of any of the following would also be an advantage
Key Competencies of an Assistant Store Manager are:
 Encourages others to achieve targets/team goals.
 Effective communicator both verbally/ non verbal
 Reliable
 Commercial acumen and P&L accountability
 Passionate about customer service
 18 months management experience
 PC literate - Word, Excel and Outlook
 Experience of dealing with performance management issues
 Awareness of Health and safety at store level.
