Lecturer in Biology

37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Salary range: £18,429 - £23,364 (Unqualified), £24,781 - £33,323 (Qualified) per annum

We require a Lecturer in Biology based at our Kettering campus to teach A Level Biology and Biology modules within the Access to Education and BTEC Forensic Science/Health Courses. This will also include a twilight and evening GCSE Human Biology class.

Overview of the post:

The successful candidate will have a good all round level of education to include Maths and English to GCSE (Grade A - C) or equivalent level (level 2), a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area and hold a Certificate in Education (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards gaining this qualification.

The ability to teach across a range of ages and levels and experience of teaching AS/A2/GCSE Biology are both essential. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be focused on achieving outstanding success rates and have a demonstrable knowledge of Equality and Diversity.
