The purpose of the position is to deliver Operational Support Services for IFCS across WEX Global, as a member of Service Management & Operations (SMO) and specifically as part of Operational Support team(s).  The Production Support Team Leader is also responsible for the provision of leadership of a team specialising in supporting the core IFCS Application and subsidiary related applications, Client Liaison and locality based training:

  • Assisting the SMO Manager leadership of the locally based support Team through leading continuous improvement and best practice initiatives
  • Providing senior level advice and guidance to team members in relation to operational support , validation and client engagement in alignment with the “IT Infrastructure Library” (ITIL) best practice methodology
  • Providing advice and guidance to team members in relation to creating clear and concise, fit for purpose operational support documentation
  • Providing quality advice to stakeholders, and ensuring quality reporting deliverables are produced by the team to approved standards, within agreed timeframes
  • Managing staff within the Production Support team, including being available for consultation during after-hours support
  • Providing input into the Continual Service Improvement programme that will enable IFCS Global Operational Support develop their skills and knowledge, ensuring sufficient operational capability within the teams and a consistent and competent application of the SMO Practice
  • Supporting projects and programmes to ensure they are aligned with best practise Operational Support methodologies
