Branch Manager

Our client is a rapidly expanding and successful business specialising in the supply of equipment for various different applications relating to Lifting & Handling. Their services offered includes: the Hire, Sale, Repair, Inspection, Testing and Design & Fabrication of most types of lifting related equipment on a regional, national & international level.

They currently operate from 7 strategically placed branch locations those being Glasgow, Preston, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, West London, East London and their head office is in Skelmersdale. They are looking to open a branch in the Middlesbrough area as soon as possible.

For this branch they are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, articulate individual as Branch Manager to develop their Middlesbrough operation, based on the following list of job responsibilities:

• Full operational control of the Branch location including scheduling deliveries etc. in conjunction with other branches.
• Deal with customers enquires, provide prices and maintain relationships.
• An excellent understanding of lifting equipment and also preferably knowledge of heavy lifting equipment.
• Administer orders through the customers systems and follow set procedures.
• Understand the branches financial performance and provide reports.
• Negotiate good deals with suppliers to ensure a maximum return for their business.

The successful candidate of this Branch Manager position will be given appropriate training and support at their Preston Branch from the companies Directors and Management team in order to achieve their goals. Due to the constant development of the business there are definite opportunities for self development.

Job Location: Middlesbrough
Start Date: Monday 31st August, 2015 (or sooner if possible)
Type of Position: Permanent
Salary: Negotiable - Dependent on experience, plus Profit related Bonus, Company Car & Mobile Phone
