Service Engineer (North West England)
Primarily located in North West England, however it may be necessary to travel nationally
Salary - £20,000-£25,000 (subject to qualifications/experience) plus pension, company van, laptop, mobile phone, tools
The company specialises in providing products and solutions for dust and fume extraction.
In order to support our expanding operation we seek to recruit a Service Engineer who will provide first line call out and service support involving routine planned servicing and breakdown response for the company's service contract customers. The role will also involve service and testing of LEV equipment in line with current COSHH legislation and HSE Guidance outlined in HS(G)258.
Applicants must demonstrate a proven track record in field service activities. A solid and natural aptitude for engineering processes is essential. Preferably P601 certified, knowledge and experience in the field of dust and fume extraction and LEV performance testing would be advantageous. Electrical qualifications and experience would also be beneficial.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a high level of computer literacy. A logical problem solving ability and attention to detail is vital. The role will also involve identifying new service and sales opportunities.
