Customer Collections Advisor - Consumer Debt
Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 Depending on experience + Benefits
This Customer Collections Advisor vacancy is based in Bournemouth but may well suit relevant candidates living in any of the commutable locations listed above. Full time permanent position available that will involve shift patterns, to cover hours between 9am and 8pm Monday to Friday and some Saturday mornings.

Customer Collections Advisor Role:
The Customer Collections Adviser role is responsible for chasing outstanding consumer debt whilst achieving set targets, using the debt management policy to recover debt, and develop and document agreed working practices.
Customer Collections Advisor Responsibilities Include:
* Responsible for consumer debt collection primarily by telephone
* Chase debt by reducing debtor days
* Liaise with the finance team to resolve outstanding queries
* Investigate and resolve queries relating to non-payment of direct debits
* Provide weekly reports to the Financial Controller on outstanding issues and keep informed on potential debtors' problems
* Liaise with customer services department to ensure the best possible service is given
* Ensure prompt payment is received through effective customer communication
* Data collation for credit control KPIs
The Ideal Customer Collections Advisor Will Be / Have:
* Demonstrable track record in consumer collections, dealing with high volume domestic customers
* Results driven
* Excellent Excel and Microsoft office skills essential
* Excellent analytical and interpretive skills
* Strong influencing skills across all levels including senior management
* Ability to adhere to deadlines
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Has a high standard of numeracy and accuracy with attention to detail
* Good time management and organisational skills
