Financial Reporting & Planning Systems Manager
A salary of £29,846 - £33,400, is payable. Full Accountancy Allowance of £8,002 subject to qualification. Finance Group - We have responsibility to produce accurate and meaningful financial information for both internal and external use. We also work in partnership with all areas of the business to scrutinise and challenge the information that feeds into Land Registry's financial and strategic reporting. Through the efficient use of processes, technology and people, we ensure that the information and reports we produce are of sufficient quality to support decision making, help manage financial performance, and support the system of internal control within Land Registry. The bulk of finance staff work out of Croydon office, but there may be occasional travel to local offices.
The job - As Financial Reporting and Planning Systems Manager (FRP Manager), you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of Land Registry's Financial Reporting & Planning system (Anaplan) in order to support the delivery of efficient and effective financial planning, budgeting and reporting services to our customers, internal and external. We are continuously developing and improving our financial modeling and reporting capability to meet the demanding requirements of making sound decisions in a time of reducing resources across the public sector where having high quality information is vital to ensuring our money is spent to best effect. Key requirements of Financial Reporting & Planning Systems Manager role will be to manage the content, update and change control policies and processes of FRP system (Anaplan) and associated licenses and capacity requirements. You will be the principle point of contact and support for Anaplan users across the business and ensuring effective governance of this business-critical system.
The Requirements - In order to be successful in this role the Financial Reporting & Planning Systems Manager must be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and experience;
- Degree or Equivalent qualification in either an Accountancy/Finance related field or IT/Computer Science - A good understanding of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and their application to meet Management Information requirements developed in a financial accounting or reporting context. - Good excel skills and experienced user of other MS Office applications. - Experience of managing business change, establishing new business processes and promoting business process and system improvements - Experience of managing and developing computerised financial systems and associated support services.It would be desirable but by no means essential for the Financial Reporting & Planning Systems Manager to have skills and experience in the following;
- Fully or partly qualified CCAB accountant and member of a CCAB accountancy body- Functional skills and Training in Oracle Financials and Anaplan
