We currently have a position available for a Service Support Technician to join our Operations and Delivery team.

Our company supply fleet management solutions to the marine and shipping industry we are one of the world's leading developers of marine information systems. Our product range includes systems for planned maintenance, procurement, crew management and quality & environment. The successful candidate would be responsible for handling support cases as and when they arise from our international base of customers. You will be directly responsible to the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Recording and handling cases in a very varied support environment
• The ability to plan own workload ensuring the needs of the customer are always put first
• Some domestic and international travel may be required.
• Taking incoming support from phone, Email and an in house support suite.
• Explain resolutions to issues from customers with varying levels of technical expertise.
   

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in a similar role
• A good working knowledge of Remote Administration software such as TeamViewer / RDP.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Operating Systems is essential.
• Ability to work on own and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast paced, sometimes pressured environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good telephone manner and organisational skills
• A stable employment background
• A valid UK Driving license.
