They now have two opportunities for Lecturers in Plumbing Studies to join them where you will work primarily with students engaged across a range of courses, providing a high level of support needed to achieve their programme of study. These are permanent full time positions based at our Queens Garden campus.

As a Lecturer in Plumbing Studies, you will deliver high quality teaching and learning, ensuring stretch, challenge and engagement of students of all ages and abilities. Planning, preparing and updating all relevant teaching documentation including schemes of work and lesson plans, you will assess, monitor and record feedback to students to facilitate their best achievement using the College’s data systems and processes.

As the successful candidate, you will need to be innovative with your teaching methods. With a commitment to all stages of the student journey, you will be flexible, enthusiastic and have the ability to engage and inspire students.

Applicants will have a subject specialism to Level 3 and a Certificate in Education or PGCE (or a willingness to work towards this). Previous experience of teaching in plumbing, ideally within Further or Higher Education is desirable, however this are not essential. Being able to work as a team member is vital, as is being IT competent and having the ability to work with students of all ages in a classroom, workshop or on a one to one basis.
