An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join our clients. The company is a market leader in the textile industry which has been a dominant force for over 28 years supplying some of the biggest names in the UK retail and now becoming even stronger internationally supplying over 40 countries globally. You will help drive and build the continued success of the Retail and Contract brands, which have their own truly unique selling point in the marketplace.

In this role the company will support your development as a marketeer and help you gain knowledge and understanding of the company's customers, market place, products and brands, whilst supporting both the sales & marketing team. You will also be visible to the whole business and see how it operates enabling you to grasp on to real learning opportunities seeing first-hand how a business works from liaising with the design/sourcing team, purchasing and accounts. You will provide an important link between the sales team and the business, using your initiative to pick up tasks and support the team who is dealing with both existing customers and prospects. The role will be exciting and dynamic allowing you the opportunity to develop as a marketeer but also have a real impact on the Brand and Business.

Key Responsibilities:

• CRM driven content - such as promotional offers and newsletters
• Sales Team Reporting and Data Analysis
• Working with external PR Agencies to increase brand exposure
• Production of seasonal and bespoke customer artwork/literature for point of sale displays
• Product sampling development/amendments
• Organisation of new range photography
• Website content management
• Exhibition stands and new point of purchase stand development /organisation
• Concession merchandising
• Assisting sales and marketing team and Managing all marketing admin
• Maintaining the Brands Tone of Voice

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• CIM Qualification or Relevant Business Degree
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages especially Excel
• Confident, polite, organised, team player and driven
• A "Can Do" attitude
• Flexible with a willingness to travel
• Strong communication skills at all levels
• Customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Creative in solving problems
• Full UK driver's license

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

• Experience in a Sales / Marketing Role
• Experience in using a CRM Tool
• Knowledge and understanding of Adobe Creative package - In Design, Illustrator & Photoshop
• Creative Writing
• Knowledge of the soft furnishings market
