Pay Rate: qualified lecturer status: £22,949- £33,009 per annum, unqualified lecturer status: £19,955 - £28,703 per annum

The newly developed Enterprise and Digital Industries Department requires an IT and Computing Lecturer. Looking to recruit an experienced individual in IT and Computing with relevant qualifications. You will be involved in the development and delivery of a range of engaging learning programmes across levels 1-3. We are looking for someone with the drive and enthusiasm to deliver high standards of teaching, and who will be prepared to undertake some course leadership.

As a successful candidate you will:

• Have proven experience within IT, ideally with experience in teaching in this discipline
• Ideally hold a recognised teaching qualification
• Have well developed organisational and administrative skills
• Be able to teach creatively and be willing to explore new teaching and learning strategies

About the College

Fareham College is the pre-eminent provider of further education and professional training in the Fareham and Gosport Area. We provide a wide range of vocational, academic, and occupational courses to 14-19 year-old students and to adult learners. A £14m redevelopment of the Bishopsfield Road campus (due to be completed in September 2015) will provide students, staff and the surrounding community with an exceptional learning facility.
