Main Responsibilities

  • Day to day responsibility for business support administration activities ensuring the                                                 function is effective and efficient
  • Day to day administrative support to the  Practice Manager/Directors and Engineer’s
  • Supply Management; auditing and ordering of office consumables ensuring we have enough internal supplies
  • Assist in creating newsletters and managing contacts.

Key Tasks

  • Day to day administration duties supporting the overall achievement of the business plan objectives and priorities
  • Ensure information is regularly monitored and kept up to date.
  • Assist in the preparation of new electronic and hard copy project files
  • Assist in the delivery of ESD`s annual events
  • Prepare materials for meetings and events; organise the distribution of publications and mailings of marketing material such as brochures.
  • Provide a professional, effective response to all enquiries, telephone, and email ensuring a first class service is delivered
  • Assist in the typing up of meeting minutes
  • Maintain all project files and keep on top off all filing making sure documents and drawings are completed correctly.
  • Reasonably undertake any other duties as required by the line manager that are commensurate with the level of the post.

1.       No experience is required for this position although some level of work experience would beneficial; full training will be provided

4.       Well- developed organisation skills making sure all ESD and business objectives are met within target deadline

6.       Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and Adobe.

GCSE’s A-C

Hard Working

Confident, Friendly and Outgoing

Good IT Skills and knowledge of Microsoft Packages

This position will be supported with training by a national training provider to achieve an NVQ Qualification; therefore you must be willing to undertake an apprenticeship programme and reflective wage.

The successful candidate will gain an NVQ Qualification and technical certificate in Business Administration Level 2. However should the successful candidate have already achieved level 2 then they would take level 3.
