Graduate/Junior Developer

Firmstep have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate/Junior Developer to join the team based in London. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum.

Firmstep delivers web and mobile solutions for customer service in government. Over 30% of UK councils rely on the Firmstep Platform to enhance citizen interactions, improve efficiency, and save costs by moving their services online. We’re well established, fast moving, and deliver agile technology.

Our successful Graduate/Junior Developer candidate will be a member of one of our product development teams, working with interesting technology that improves how government delivers services to citizens. We run several small teams, which are each take on graduates and gets them involved in all aspects of delivering SaaS and mobile technology.

Our ideal Graduate/Junior Developer candidate will have:

- Experience in software development, with HTML, PHP, JavaScript and CSS technologies

- Strong technical communication skills

- Self-motivation and a desire to take on new challenges

- Experience of databases and understand basic queries

Graduate/Junior Developer candidates that make it through to the first stage of recruitment will be required to take a technical test lasting 60 minutes. This test can be taken remotely.
