Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Bolton

Salary: £28,695-£33,242 per annum

The Role:

Our client has implemented major academic initiatives and made recent investments in infrastructure development. This is part of the £150m transformation project which has been completed on their university campus to give effect to the Bolton Education Zone. A £10m University Technical College on campus is in the process of being built which will contribute further to the growth of the University.

In this context, an exciting opportunity has arisen within their Facilities team to help deliver campus development and to be responsible for the planned and day to day maintenance of all University buildings / facilities plus the day to day operational management and development of the maintenance staff and external contractors.

The successful candidate will be qualified in building services and/or have a proven track record in a similar multi-site environment. In this role you will be responsible for project managing the maintenance and repair programmes, supervising the staff of the maintenance team, carrying out periodic inspections and testing and the control of maintenance within allocated budgets
