Exciting Opportunity with Yorkshire Water Regulatory Project Manager (Fixed Term until 31st March 2017) Based at Buttershaw, Bradford Reporting to the Programme Manager, the purpose of the Regulatory Project Manager role is to lead and project manage a number of key projects which form part of the overall Retail Competition Reform implementation programme.

Salary £29,760 - £40,112 depending on experience + pension + quarterly performance related bonus + 25 days annual leave

What is the purpose of the role?

Reporting to the Programme Manager, the purpose of the Regulatory Project Manager role is to lead and project manage a number of key projects which form part of the overall Retail Competition Reform implementation programme.

The role is offered as a fixed term contract which will run from the date of employment until 31 April 2017.

The scope of the projects to be managed primarily includes the design, development and documentation of the business process, systems and organisational changes required to enable our Wholesale and Non-Household Retail businesses to operate in the future Retail Market in full compliance with the Competition Act.

As a member of the Regulation Team, the Regulatory Project Manager will also be required to support other Regulatory team activities for example, the coordination, collation and submission of any regulatory submissions and reports to Ofwat. As such, the role requires the ability to work both independently and within the wider team.

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivating team member who has the ability to work both independently and within the wider team.

What will the role involve?

The Regulatory Project Manager will be responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, controlling and delivering a number of specific project outputs to the Business Change Managers ready for implementation into the business. If required, the Project Manager will also provide project management support and advice to the Business Change Managers to ensure any change to the business is fully planned, enacted and embedded.

What skills are we looking for?

This role requires experience of managing full life cycle projects with project management qualifications e.g. Prince2 and/or APM.

The candidate will be experienced in the use of project management tools, (e.g. Microsoft Project), techniques and process planning, budgeting, control, risk, stakeholder management with a proven track record of driving sustainable performance against challenging business targets.

The candidate will be able to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships and communicate and engage people at all levels.

The candidate will be highly organised and efficient with excellent verbal, written, IT and communication skills.

This role will be based at Buttershaw, Bradford, but will occasionally be required to visit other sites and locations in Yorkshire.
