PART TIME CATERING ASSISTANT/BARISTA

31.5 hours per week - 36 weeks per year

(Mon-Thurs 8am till 3pm, Fri 9am till 3pm)

£14,506 - £15,632 per annum pro rata

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Catering Assistant/Barista to work in our coffee shop based at the North Street site

You will be responsible for preparing espresso based drinks, brewed coffee, hot chocolates, milkshakes, frappes and fruit ices.

We will also be looking to extend our food offering by preparing hot snacks e.g. Paninis and toasties.

You will get to know our regular customers, be able to engage with them and provide excellent service.

Good presence, positive attitude and customer-driven mind set are essential as well as a Level 2 certificate in Food Safety.

Required Experience

• Barista trained
• Passionate and strong knowledge of coffees, hot food and beverages
• Personable with the ability to talk to customers at all levels
• A real self-starter, motivated and keen to get stuck into the role
• Experience of cash handling and using a till
• Experience in similar catering environment
