// The Marketing Manager Role

This role is all about making people want to work with us.
We need someone that can do whatever it takes to generate leads.

You’ll build awareness of the brand and make sure people know what we do and what makes us great at it. When there’s a healthy supply of new business leads coming in as a result of the marketing strategy that you both plan and manage, you’re doing your job well. That plan has to include the right mix of events, awards, pr and whatever other marketing ideas you can dream up to make sure that the company’s annual business objectives and sales strategy is well supported.

// Marketing Manager Responsibilities include

> Develop an annual marketing strategy and prepare and present it, along with a plan which aligns with the company’s business objectives
> Develop, plan, implement and manage marketing campaigns and events
> Create, deliver and optimise all company marketing materials
> Manage all marketing activity, including the company website, social media channels and events
> Monitor and measure results. Produce reports on the effectiveness of our marketing including, but not limited to the following:
+ Awareness of the business in the Market
+ Sentiment about the company
+ Engagement with content
+ Traffic Generated by Marketing Activity
+ Leads Generated by Marketing Activity
+ ROI on marketing spend and budget effectiveness
+ Monitor the market and our competition and identify trends and opportunities and;
+ Identify and submit our work for relevant awards and competitions
+ Identify and recommend new sectors and geographic markets to approach, companies to
target, products and services to develop and topics to address with our marketing
+ Assist with Business Development and/or Sales activity when required
+ Run our client satisfaction programme

// Knowledge, Skills & Experience

> 2-5 years’ experience in an internal and external marketing-communications role within a Digital or similar agency environment
> Experience working directly with Communications/PR agencies, journalists and social media influencers
> Experience planning and executing events in a digital and/or communications related environment
> Experience in brand management
> Experience writing sales and marketing collateral, press releases, articles
> Experience in PR, merchandising, advertising, social media and/or digital marketing
> Understanding/passion for the internet, digital marketing, technology
> Advanced PC applications knowledge, MS Office
> Experience with CRM and CRM systems
> Assertive, organised, methodical, efficient and able to work on own initiative
> Excellent verbal and written communication skills
