Teaching Assistant - PMLD - Bolton

A Local Specialist Primary School is looking for a Care/Teaching Assistant to join their team of dedicated professionals working with pupils with special educational needs in Bolton.

We are currently looking to recruit a teaching assistant that has gained experience of working with young people with moderate and complex needs through either the Education or Care setting. A background in supporting children with Autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties is preferable.

The successful applicants will benefit from working in a school with a positive, caring, ethos where team work is important, as is their supportive staff development and training programme.

This role requires you to attend to personal needs, including pastoral, social, health, physical hygiene, minor first aid and welfare matters. You must be able to establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model by presenting a positive personal image. This role requires you to promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
