Software Developer – VB.Net, T-SQL, Web (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
We are seeking a SQL & Web developer to join our busy IT Department which supports Head Office and remote users.
You will need you to maintain the Company’s Intranet and web based applications - developed in-house using VB.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.
Responsibilities
- Design, create & maintain complex relational databases in MS SQL Server.
- Develop and maintain complex T-SQL stored procedures and functions.
- Support and maintenance of legacy web applications. This will require strong HTML and scripting languages (eg. VBScript & JavaScript). You will need to have the confidence to code by hand as opposed to using modern drag & drop IDE’s to auto generate code (i.e. .Net WebForms in Visual Studio).
- Developing new web applications in VB.net.
Pre-requisites
- High level of proficiency in SQL Server development (TSQL).
- Web development based languages (JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
Desirable
- JQuery (including AJAX).
- VB.NET in an ASP environment.
