Technical / Energy Manager

Identifying energy use and wastage within businesses via detailed site audits on all plant and services including calculating project cost, pay back period and project management and delivery. 

The successful candidate for this Technical / Energy Manager role must have a fluent understanding of Lighting, Heating (HVAC, Air Conditioning, Pumps, Fans etc.) and Machines incorporating motors with the ability to explain the technical issues in business terms (at multiple levels within an organization). Additionally, candidates must have a good understanding and experience of renewable technology (Solar PV, Biomass and Wind) as part of the overall solution to customer’s energy requirements.

Although this Technical / Energy Manager role has a strong technical element the candidate must have a sales ability and be able to handle and overcome objections via reasoned logic. 
 
Technical / Energy Manager - Responsibilities:

Technical / Energy Manager – Skills / Attributes:

• Technical understanding of lighting, HVAC and machines & renewables, monitoring including surveys.
• Up sell products (in an ethical way).
• Engineering / Electrical Graduate / Post Graduate.
• Lead Assessor status.  
• Track record of exceeding targets in B-2-B.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to take on challenging stakeholders.
• Professional, friendly and outgoing personality with strength of character.
• High achiever with a systematic approach to delivering substantial targets.
• Computer literate.
• Numerically literate.
• Attention to detail.
• Outbound call experience.
• Energy sales experience.

Technical / Energy Manager - Interview Process:

• The interview process for the candidates will be a 2 - stage interview.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per Annum + £30K OTE (Uncapped)
Reporting To: Sales Manager
Responsible For: Energy Consultant/s
