Systems Support Engineer

Hays IT is working in partnership with a leading global company who are one of Europe's largest food producers. With over 10,000 staff across locations in the UK and Europe they are seeking to expand their support infrastructure and have offered a top class position that would be ideal for a recent graduate or an experienced professional willing to work for a company with unlimited career progression potential and exposure in a highly influential technological environment.

The responsibility of this position will be to provide 1st line IT support within a site factory environment. The team is tight-knit and production-orientated with a view to registering and solving IT issues in a fast-paced environment. Due to the nature of the business, this role will require a flexible approach to working hours and will include shift work, evenings and weekends as required.

The ideal candidate will have experience of:

PC Hardware and Software with specific experience in all Microsoft Applications
Exposure in a manufacturing environment ie ERP, barcode scanners, weighing systems
Networking - Switches, hubs & cabling
Label design software
Product databases
