PLSQL, Informatica & OBIEE Developer (Senior BI)

Informatica/OBIEE Developer - London - to GBP65k

Informatica/OBIEE developer required to join a Global Financial Services company to develop and evolve our Business Intelligence solutions and applications. You will be joining a growing team made up of Business Analysts and Developers that are responsible for managing the reporting and analytical needs of the organisation.

You will be working on multiple Business Data Warehousing strategies, multi-dimensional modelling and full life cycle development across PLSQL procedures, Informatica ETL and OBIEE 11g.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*Field expert using Informatica PowerCenter (9.1) and OBIEE(11g) and up to date with current releases.
*Ability to create end to end mappings using Informatica PowerCenter with real time acquisition and transformation.
*To create and master numerous technology interfaces such as JMS, Tibco, Google Analytics, XML, flat files, database connectivity, in order to consolidate the BI estate into a corporate data warehouse.
*Understand the need for outbound data services from the data warehouse and guild solutions using Informatica.
*To assist with the management and continuous improvement of financial and business intelligence reporting requirements using Oracle Financial and Human Resources Analytics.
*To work within a framework of support processes - specifically incident management, problem management, configuration management and change management.
*Work towards internal technical and security implementation standards.
*To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
*Understand the role of regulation in the financial markets and specifically FSA guidelines.

*Understanding or real time ETL and Change Data Capture
*Oracle Database Fundamentals
*PL/SQL scripting/programming
*Experience in Agile development environment.

Desirable

*Performance tuning techniques
*Linux/Unix scripting
*Financial Trading Background
*Experience of financial markets
*Experience of TFS, Subversion, CVS or any other version control tools.
*Experience of software release management process (branching and merging etc.)
