Senior Magento Developer / Web Developer (CSS, HTML, Magento, e-commerce websites ) – Surrey £competitive

A successful international technology SME are looking for a proactive and driven Senior Web Developer to join their growing team.

This is a newly created position, and will offer the successful candidate a unique opportunity to take ownership of shaping the internal development for the businesses global e-commerce site, and multiple client sites.

Until now, the majority of development has been outsourced, but due to the continued success of the business they are now looking to expand their team and begin transitioning into in-house development.

Working closely with multiple departments, external suppliers and partners, the Web Manager will also progress into IT Strategy development, ensuring that infrastructure is robust enough to support global requirements.

To be considered for this role, experience with all or most of the following is essential:

• CSS and HTML scripting

• Magento - or similar open course e-commerce platforms (PrestaShop, OpenCart, osCSS etc)  

• WordPress - or similar Content Management Systems (CMS)

While not essential, any experience with SEO, PPC, social media, web analytics, strategy development or IT infrastructure development would certainly support your application.

This opportunity is likely to suit a technology enthusiast with previous experience working as a Web Developer, Front End Developer, E-commerce Manager, Senior Web Designer, Application Developer or similar.
