Account Manager: Manchester 25k- 30K
We're working exclusively with a full service agency based in Manchester's Northern Quarter. They are looking for an Account Manager to work on a varied roster of leisure, tourism, B2C and B2B brands. This is an exciting time for the agency who are renowned for the incredibly high quality of design work they produce and they have delivered some high profile campaigns and after a period of success and growth are looking for a new member to join their vibrant team.
The role will support the studio, taking responsibility for several key clients. It's a key role for the agency taking creative briefs and driving them through the studio.
What day to day tasks are involved;
Managing projects on behalf of clients from concept to completion.
- Create a written brief from client requirements
- Produce formal estimates and create jobs, allocating appropriate staff to work on the project
- Create briefs for relevant team members
- Set realistic deadlines
- Manage the outputs of the team and liaison with the client
- Proof read prior to delivery to the client
- Input into twice weekly studio meetings
- Liaise with external suppliers such as printers
Essential Skills;
- Good organisation skills ability to manage multiple projects
- Attention to detail quotes, briefs, proof reading etc.
- Good communication skills able to manage client expectations
- Experience delivering brochure projects, print ready
- Powerpoint, word & excel essential
Skills that add value to the role;
- Experience managing web and digital projects
- Able to work around Adobe suite
- Experience of branding projects
- Experience managing integrated campaign management
- An understanding of web to print
- Experience working in the hotel/leisure sector or working with government/not for profit agencies.
- Ability to develop proposals
