The opportunity….

The purpose of this challenging and high profile role is to be accountable for the Society's product ranges, namely mortgages, savings and third party products. This responsibility covers product pricing, design, strategy, market planning, product profitability, ensuring our products support the achievement of the Society's retail savings and mortgage goals.

 

More about the role…

You will ensure that products are priced, designed, implemented and managed in line with income targets, budget and margin requirements.

 

Performs high quality quantitative and qualitative analysis ensuring that existing product performance and associated dynamics, are completely and comprehensively understood and identifies areas for improvement or growth and regularly feeds this information into the Executive Team.

 

Develops and maintains a detailed understanding and awareness of the marketplace, competitor activities, developing distribution trends as well as understanding regulatory changes.

 

Investigates, quantifies and recommends distinctive and profitable product propositions to the Society's Executive team and contributes to the corporate planning process.

 

Creates and implements appropriate product development and market strategies in line with regulatory framework, market trends and opportunities

 

Implements retention activities which achieve volume retention and margin targets.

 

Ensures all products, whether designed internally or by a third party are fully compliant and satisfy the Society's Members First ethos.
