Based in Stretford, Manchester, a well-established logistics company is currently recruiting for two part-time Transport Administration Clerks. Earning the national minimum wage, the Transport Administration Clerks will work evenings Monday to Friday assisting the Transport Team.

The successful Transport Administration Clerks will create timely and effective records of all jobs undertaken, managing the day-to-day administrative function of the transport department. Reporting to the Traffic Manager your core responsibilities will include: 
  • Record all jobs undertaken.
  • Ensuring all drivers are debriefed effectively and on a timely basis.
  • Allocating vehicles to job records as instructed by the Traffic Operations Team.
  • Ensuring all procedures relating to your duties are properly implemented.
  • Carrying out any other duties required by your manager.
With demonstrable experience in an admin role, the successful Transport Administration Clerk will be comfortable handling and prioritising large volumes of work and will place excellent customer service at the heart of everything they do. To be considered you should also possess the following key skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in an administration role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work in a calm manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team
