A Project Coordinator is required to join a successful, award winning, and the south west region's leading managed IT services company. An exciting role ensuring their services are delivered professionally, on time with the maximum amount of clarity to their clients.
This role is administrative with no hands on technical delivery. Excellent verbal/written communication skills & organisational skills are essential for success.
Key Aspects of Role:
- Working within ISO 9001:2008 QMS and 27001:2013 ISMS
- Drafting & issuance of project proposals, budgets, cash flows & schedules & identify the equipment & resource requirements for proposed projects
- Investigate & review potential project solutions as requested - Maintain list of "standard" equipment for quotes & manage procurement of & scheduling for the deployment of those items
- Maintain vendor relationships - Working with the OD to ensure that training is delivered to their support teams
- Following prj commencement, procure required equipment JIT & ensure received
- Chair meetings and distribute minutes to/for project team
- Track progress & quality of work performed by engineers
- Use scheduling & control tools to monitor project plans & hours
- Create & Manage Project plans & effectively & accurately communicate to client & prj team managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure clients' needs met in timely & cost effective manner
- Review status reports from Engineers throughout the lifecycle of projects
- Track & manage project change notices & change orders
- Prepare completion documentation & ensure required project close documents obtained & ensure support are aware of changes, trained & ready to support
- Keep internal/external stakeholders informed about project status/issues
- Complete post project reviews & upstream report on profitability, issues & lessons learned
- Create "templates" to ensure swift re-quote/re-delivery for future repeatable projects
- Maintain client licensing position/complete license reviews/license renewals.
- Maintain client equipment warranty position/complete warranty renewals.
- Manage (as above) internal projects/deliverables
- Communicate ideas for improving processes with a positive & constructive attitude & for developing this attitude in others
Specific Knowledge / Exposure Required (for quoting / understanding):
- Windows Infrastructure knowledge/Licensing Experience
- Windows, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint Server,
- Office 365
- VMware Platform Knowledge/Licensing Experience
- Hardware Knowledge for quoting (Servers (HP/Dell), Storage (NAS, DAS, JBOD, SAN - HP/Dell/EMC), Firewall/Routing/Switching Design (Layers, VLAN, QoS)
- Project Management Software (Microsoft Project) with demonstrable Project Management Experience
Other Essential:
- Able to prioritise workload, exceptional spoken and written English, customer service skills, problem solving
- full UK driving license
